The Easter Weekend starts here, and it's not quite the Easter any of us planned just a month ago, but in the midst of the madness of lockdown and tragedy of COVID-19 I'm doing my best to maintain a positive spirit and creative nesting is at the heart of it!
My two days home with the kids this week involved making an Easter Wreath from sand art & an old cardboard box, and some fun FIMO sculpture. It made me think we need to make a 'slice of cake' charm later in the summer when the time is right - though I think our FIMO cake is a little large for a charm!
Our Easter opening hours are:
- Good Friday CLOSED
- Easter Saturday CLOSED
- Easter Sunday CLOSED
- Easter Monday 9am - 1pm to prepare orders from the weekend
- Tuesday 14th - 8am - 10am
- Wednesday 9.30am - 1pm
It's an erratic week juggling my husbands work hours and the children, so I'm sacrificing my Easter Monday to make sure any orders placed over Easter are picked and shipped first thing on Tuesday so you don't have to wait any longer than necessary.
We'll be taking sour essential exercise in our local woods where this week we took great joy in spotting lots of gorgeous ivy and a sprinkling of the first bluebells of the season - always something that cheers me up!
